Liquen scrofulosorum, also known as tuberculosis cutis lichenoides, is a rare tuberculid that manifests as lichenoid eruptions of minute papules. It’s a difficult condition to identify because it’s so uncommon. The lesions are frequently asymptomatic and clustered, with skin pigmented to reddish-brown papules that are often perifollicular. The eruption is generally accompanied by a tuberculin reaction that is extremely positive. The lesions can be difficult to diagnose because they resemble several different dermatological disorders that are frequently considered. With the goal of determining the efficacy of antitubercular therapy, a case of lichen scrofulosorum in an adult male with a long medical history is reported.
